It is up to you to find out where your brother is, discover the truth about Shepherds Glen and how it ties with the town of Silent Hill The game starts with you having a nightmare about your little brother in a rusted-metal world before waking up in the cab of a truck (coincidently driven by the main protagonist of Silent Hill Origins, Travis Grady). You start to search the town, trying to find him, which leads you to a town called Silent Hill. You also meet some of its residents, such as Elle and Curtis, only to find out that people have gone missing over the years, including your little brother, Josh, since you left for the military. Story You play as Alex Shephard, a soldier returning from war to visit his family in your hometown, Shepherds Glen.

Reused enemies from previous Silent Hill games.
